![]() I don't really care too much about the time at the school because it is just girls fawning over Shane, which I don't enjoy, and Charity making friends, so I could take or leave it, but I loved anything having to do with Hunter and Charity together, so just for that I really enjoyed this book. Ari is the most powerful flame-throwing sorceress ever, and her people's last hope in an ancient war. The Carules are at war with the Edren, both of which are groups of sorcerers who had a falling out with each other in the past, and Shane is an important person in the Carules group, so he is sent to a new school to blend in with the normal people and remain safe, and Charity is his cousin and a seer, so she goes along as well, and Hunter is Shane's bodyguard.
